User Manual: 2BA Integration

This guide explains how to connect the 2BA database (Bestand Beheer Artikelen) to OutSmart. This integration gives you instant access to millions of up-to-date technical products, pricing, and stock information from various Dutch wholesalers.

1. Prerequisites & Licensing

To use the 2BA functionality, you must meet the following conditions:

• OutSmart Plan: Maximize subscription (unrestricted access).

• Module: The Calculation Module must be active.

• 2BA Account: You must have your own valid subscription with 2ba.nl.

2. Activating the 2BA Module

Follow these steps to establish the connection:

1. Navigation: In the BackOffice, go to the Modules page (located at the bottom left of the main menu).

2. BETA Section: Locate 2BA under the 'BETA modules' section.

3. Activate: Click the toggle/button to enable the module.

4. Terms: Read and accept the terms and conditions for using the BETA module.

5. Authentication: Go to Settings > 2BA and log in with your 2BA username and password.

3. Searching and Adding Items

When creating a calculation, quotation, or invoice, you can retrieve items directly from 2BA if they are not already in your personal OutSmart database.

The Search Process:

• Criteria: Enter search terms such as supplier, manufacturer, ETIM class, or product type.

• Compare: The system displays a list of all wholesalers supplying the item, including current gross and net prices and stock levels.

• Selection: Select the preferred supplier and add the item directly to your document.
