Recurring Planning for Work Orders

Introduction

When creating a work order it is possible to plan multiple orders on pre determined days or frequency.

Detailed Explanation

A job can span multiple days but not in the same week. For instance office plants that need to be watered every week on the same day. To facilitate this a recurring planning can be set when creating a work order. Once the preferred recurrence has been set and the order is saved, all orders are immediately generated and added to the scheduler. If work is recurring but the immediate generation of orders is not workable please see our article about contracts.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log into the OutSmart BackOffice account.

Step 2: Create a new or edit an existing work order.

Step 3: In the right column click on the Recurring schedule configuration option.

Step 4: Change the option from One-time only to Recurring.

Step 5: Set a start date. On that date the first work order will be generated.

Step 6: Two recurrence options can be selected. Either select after how many times the recurrence should end om the End after x times option or choose an end date in the Ends on option.

Step 7: Regardless of the option chosen in step 6 a frequency can be set. The first field in the Each option is a number field. In the second field a time can be set. For example Each 1 Week.

Step 8: Set a specific day in the On option.

Step 9: When all information has been correctly added to the configurator an agenda will be shown on which dates a work order will be generated.
