How to connect HubSpot to OutSmart

Overview

The HubSpot integration allows you to synchronise companies, contacts and subscriptions between HubSpot and OutSmart. Data flows are configurable, so you control exactly what gets synced.

Prerequisites

• A HubSpot account with API access enabled.
• An OutSmart BackOffice administrator account.

Step 1 — Generate an API token

1. Log in to HubSpot and navigate to Settings > Integrations > Private Apps.
2. Create a new private app and copy the API token.

Step 2 — Enter the token in OutSmart

1. In BackOffice, go to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot.
2. Paste the API token and click Connect.

Step 3 — Configure field mapping

Map HubSpot fields to their OutSmart equivalents. At a minimum, configure:

• Company name → Relation name
• Contact email → Contact email
• Phone → Phone number

Additional fields can be mapped depending on your data model.

Step 4 — Set sync preferences

• Manual sync — trigger from the integration page.
• Automatic sync — runs on a schedule; configure the interval on the integration settings page.

Technical note

The integration is handled by the web-worker-koppeling service, which manages all third-party data flows for OutSmart.
