OutSmart takes data protection seriously. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and have implemented organisational and technical measures to keep your data safe.
Where is my data stored?
All OutSmart data is stored in data centres located within the European Union.
What happens when I cancel my account?
After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days. During this period, you can request reactivation. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted.
Data portability
Under GDPR you have the right to request a copy of your data. OutSmart processes portability requests within 5 business days. Contact support to initiate a data export.
Access control
OutSmart provides role-based access control so you can restrict who sees what. Combined with audit logging, this gives you a clear trail of who accessed or changed data and when.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure you have lawful grounds to store customer personal data.
- Configure user roles so employees only access data relevant to their job.
- Contact support promptly if you suspect a data breach.
