In the rare case that a password to the mobile application is forgotten and an employee is not able to log in there are some easy steps to follow. This will allow the employee to quickly gain access again.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Open the mobile application.

Step 2: In the log in screen there will be a clickable option Forgot password.

Step 3: A log in reset email will be send to the email address the employee uses as a username.

Step 4: Follow the instructions in the email to gain access to the mobile application again.

Question: My employee does not have a valid email address as a username. Can they still reset their password through the mobile application?

Answer: In an earlier version of the OutSmart BackOffice it was possible to enter an invalid email address as a username. If this is the case it is not possible to reset a password through the mobile application. A new password can only be generated through the BackOffice in this case
